Dear Paddy Lovejoy,

I remember you very well as I was Kitchener 56. Joined in 1945 and left in 1952.

Trust life has been kind to you and that you are still hale and hearty.

Sorry about the delay in picking up your message but illness over the past six years has left me somewhat short of energy at times and slow to be able to respond to points of interest such as yours.

With kindest regards.

Robin Harrington.

Thank you very much for linking our video to the OBA website. The reaction that we have recieved to this recording has been fantastic with an average of 1000 hits a day on youtube. Please visit http://www.youtube.com/user/JRobinsonComposer to hear/see the radio and TV reports on the song and other performances by our pupils.
Dear Liam,
unfortunately, I have only today (7/12/11) seen your request and I may be out of time for your requirements.
I attended the Duke of York's from 1943 until 1948. Besides serving initially in Haig Company, I served the remainder of my school days in Kitchener Company.
I played euphonium in the school regimental band and attained the rank of band sergeant.
If you wish to contact me for information, please feel free to do so.

Play up Dukies,

Joe Taylor

Still going reasonably strong.

Dave,
Hope the day goes well - really thought I would be able to make it this year but alas the watchbill has me on duty - Mum and Dad are with Jools in Dubai so won't be around either unfortunately. Hope the Christian Redman memorial plate continues - he would have just turned 40 and no doubt would have been naked at some point of the proceedings if he was still around!
Regards to all

I am trying to find out what happened to the the Kavanagh brothers who were,I think relocated to the DYRM from the Royal Hibenrian School Dublin in 1924. Is there any way I can get info from the school archives and if so,how. As far as I know one of them joined the Royal Dragons and the trail goes cold after that. Grateful for any information.
